Every day, from the moment you wake up to just before you fall asleep, you are bombarded by products from all kinds of different media companies - from streaming music and TV, clicking through YouTube, from adverts on bus shelters, from websites, apps, Snapchatting, Facebooking, Tweeting… there are media products everywhere. And if it's everywhere, you ought to understand who is making it, why and what they want from YOU. Media Studies gives you the tools to decipher all of the media that surround you, to understand where it comes from and how you can become a media producer yourself.
