Course Information
Criminology WJEC is level 3 Diploma which explores and addresses a number or individual, social and economical causes of Criminality. The course consists of four units: Awareness of Crime, Criminological Theories, Crime Scene to Courtroom and Control and Punishment. Students are assessed through internal and external examinations; two controlled assessments and two exams. This course is very diverse and is rooted in Sociological and Psychological thought thus offering a broad range of skills to students. In Year 12, students will complete one piece of coursework and one exam - Units 1 and 2. Unit 3 and 4 will be completed in Year 13.
