Visit To Corby Borough Council Meeting
At the invitation of Mary Butcher, Mayor of Corby, six students attended a council meeting: Shanics Olton, Anne Mirkovic and Jessica Salmon from Year 13; Cheyenne Mair and Jake Wise from Year 10; and Helen Cain from Year 9 .
At the meeting, Chris Mallender, Chief Executive of Corby Borough Council, gave a presentation on the many developments taking place in Corby.
Helen Cain, who has more experience than most of such meetings in her role as a volunteer on the Council's Youth Forum said, 'The presentation and question and answer session gave us a real insight into the workings of the Council and the future plans for Corby.'
