Staff and students joined in with the celebrations for World Book Day 2021. Postponed due to lockdown restrictions but fun was definitely had by all! Even Bonnie, our Academy dog was involved!

Students created fabulous Books in a Box and celebrations included some amazing contributions from Mrs Sogojeva and her family and friends who donated a new reading book for every single Year 8 student as well as Year 7 students a few weeks ago. We are so grateful for her organised sponsership and encouraging the pleasure of reading to more of our students. Year 8 students were so excited to receive their new books and it was a fantastic surprise for them all. The whole of KS3 has now received a brand new reading book.
