Students are celebrating after receiving their results for their A-level or equivalent courses of study

With almost 1000 children in care in Northamptonshire, people are needed more than ever to open their home to a child and give them the love and support they need to learn, grow and progress.
Please would parents/carers of Year 6 children attending the Academy on Thursday 7 and Friday 8 July 2016, note that the Transition Days will end at 2.45 pm and NOT 3.00 pm as previously announced.
As the Rio 2016 Olympics are fast approaching, the Academy has implemented an Olympic theme to our Sports Days. Pupils will be asked to wear their Kingswood PE kits all day, as we do not have sufficient changing facilities for an entire year group. The dates of the Sports Days are: Year 9 - Monday 11 July, Year 8 - Tuesday 12 July and Year 7 - Wednesday 13 July.
Please remember that pupils will finish on Tuesday 19 July 2016 at 2.00 pm; those using Academy transport will do so as normal but at 2.00 pm.

On The NUT strike day, Tuesday 5 July 2016, the Academy will be open as normal to all pupils, with the exception of Year 12 who should have been given work to complete at home.
With effect from 1 June 2016, the Free School Meals Service will be provided by Learning, Skills and Education. Please note that there are some changes to the way Free School Meals are now processed.
The current Academy day no longer serves the needs of the pupils and staff at Kingswood. We are proposing a change to the structure of the Academy day. Please click here to access more information.
The Kingswood Physical Education department has received national recognition for its continued work in developing Physical Education and the unique role it has to play in developing both the physical and emotional development of young children.
