Michelle Hodgkins - Teaching and Learning Lead for Humanities, Vocational and Social Sciences "I have worked at Kingswood Secondary Academy for over ten years. I completed my degree with The Open University, studying Humanities, Literature and Religious Studies. I have a background in working with children with special educational needs and disabilities. I am the Head of Social Sciences and teach Religious Studies, Sociology, Philosophy and Humanities; teaching across all key stages. Every day I have the opportunity to inspire young people and love sharing my knowledge and passion for my subjects".
Dumiso MBelesi - Teacher of Geography, Criminology & Sociology I joined Kingswood in 2019. I Graduated from the De Montfort University in 2012 in Leicester, then did my legal practice course at College of Law Birmingham and also did my PGCE at Leicester University. I worked for 4 years as a Commercial law litigator(solicitor) in Leeds and Northampton then did my PGCE at Leicester University in 2018. I have a passion for Geography and working with young minds, aiming to inspire them to a brighter future. I enjoy travelling around the world embracing new challenges and learning new cultures.
Beth Hardy - Teacher of Geography and Careers, Employability and Aspiration Lead "I love working at Kingswood, I enjoy the challenges of working with talented, creative and passionate young people every day. In my current role I am working to improve the opportunities for every student in moving forwards in their future careers. I began my teaching career after two years of voluntary work with a P.G.C.E. in Geography and P.E. from Manchester Metropolitan University after gaining my BSc Geography degree from the University of Liverpool."
