"I love working at Kingswood, I enjoy the challenges of working with talented, creative and passionate young people every day. In my current role I am working to improve the opportunities for every student in moving forwards in their future careers. I began my teaching career after two years of voluntary work with a P.G.C.E. in Geography and P.E. from Manchester Metropolitan University after gaining my BSc Geography degree from the University of Liverpool."
Jon Lawson – Senior Assistant Principal/Teacher of Geography "I've had the privilege of working at Kingswood since the days of the old red brick building and now teach the children of former students! I studied for my degree in Geography at Loughborough University, before completing my PGCSE at Bath University. I still teach a small amount of Geography, but most of my time is taken these days in being in overall charge of Kingswood's curriculum and the running of the academy." |
