21 July 2017 - Last day of Term 6. The Academy Day will finish at 2.00pm. Buses will run at this time.
The last day of Term 6 will be a non uniform day when, for a donation of £1, students will be allowed to wear their own clothes and not uniform. The money raised will be used for the Kingswood Reward Fund and a charity of the students' choice.

We have been asked by Northamptonshire Police to contact parents about some fake Facebook accounts. We do constantly remind pupils that they must take care when interacting with ‘friends’ online; just because someone says they are 15 with a photo on their profile page does not necessarily make it so. Indeed this is exactly the case regarding two fake accounts.
As you are aware the Academy was inspected on 2 and 3 November 2016 by a team from Ofsted (the Office for Standards in Education). Ofsted found that the Academy has made significant recent improvements on its way to becoming good, but is not yet there and is required to improve.
Regrettably we have had 3 cycles stolen from the Academy site in the last few weeks. We have therefore arranged for Police to attend the Academy on Tuesday 1 and Wednesday 2 November during the lunch break (12.50pm to 1.30pm) to apply a permanent and unique number to each bike. This information will then be registered on the National Cycle Database. This may assist greatly in aiding recovery in the event of theft. We would recommend pupils take advantage of this registration to help protect their bike.
A Year 11 Parent Information Evening will take place on Tuesday 18 October 2016 at 6.00pm. The event will last approximately 1 hour and will cover various issues regarding how parents can provide support during this crucial point of their child's education.
Pupils are celebrating after receiving their results for their GCSE or equivalent courses of study
A Level results day is on Thursday 18 August -Year 13 A level at 9.30 am and Year 12 AS at 11.00 am.
GCSE results day is on Thursday 25 August 2016.
Exam results will be issued in the Main Hall, there is NO access to the Atrium which is totally out of bounds.
Kingswood Year 7/8 Softball team has continued the Academy's recent excellent sporting success by winning the district championship. The team were convincing winners, remaining undefeated throughout. The team will now go on to the county finals held later this term at Moulton College.
