Year 8 Parent Information Evening

The Government has introduced significant changes to the examination and grading system, as well as the curriculum, that has consequential implications for year 8 pupils. To keep you up to date we would like to invite parents/carers of year 8 pupils to an information session on Tuesday 24 November from 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm.
The session will be led by members of the senior leadership team and will cover Literacy, curriculum and examinations. This will be an opportunity for us to give parents/carers information regarding these changes and how they will affect their children, now and in the future. We will also inform parents/carers how we approach Literacy across the Academy and we will share strategies that can be used outside of lessons to support progress.
To help us prepare in terms of numbers we would appreciate parents/carers please completing and returning a reply slip to confirm attendance. Thank you for your support.
