Ofsted Good

Gambia Fundraising

On the last day of Term 5, two forms led by tutors Clare Mcloughlin and Fiona Horne helped to raise funds for the children who they sponsor in Gambia.

It was agreed that students could pay £1 to wear mufti and their tutors, assistant tutors and heads of house Alan Johnson (Hepworth) and Sandra Mandziuk (Littlewood) would pay to wear school uniform.

This has helped to raise lots of money, raise the profile of how well vertical tutoring has worked in the school but most of all raise lots of smiles.

Andy Butler who has been leading the programme in the school thanked all the students for their efforts in continuing to support the project.
