Published 02/12/16It has come to our attention that a small number of students have started to wear reinforced gloves to the Academy. We accept that they have been designed with fibre glass knuckle plates to protect hands in the event of an accident. In this context they are perfectly acceptable however it is not acceptable for them to be worn in our Academy. We have been informed by the Police that in certain situations they could be considered as a “modified weapon.”
